Walker Moyle’s roots date back to 1925, making us one of the most long-established accountancy practices in West Cornwall. We have offices in Penzance, Redruth and St. Ives, with the majority of our clients based in Cornwall.

The team at Walker Moyle have one clear purpose: to make a difference to you, our client. The Team

The practice is run by Paula Thomas, who joined in 1996 and became a partner in 2003, before becoming the sole director in 2017.

Alongside Paula (opposite) we are a team of 15, spread across our three offices, with qualifications covering ICAEW, ACCA and AAT. We are also experienced in using various cloud accounting packages including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage One.

As a team we provide both a strategic and practical service. We help private/individual clients protect their future wealth with appropriate tax planning measures. And with our business clients, we take care of all their compliance needs whilst carrying out everyday tasks such as payroll or preparing monthly management accounts, as well as helping them to achieve their growth plans.

Business clients

We work closely with you to fully understand how your business operates so that we can then give you realistic, helpful advice. Some of our clients have been with us for decades and during that time we have helped them to grow, and in many cases, sell their businesses when they are looking to retire.

Our business clients range from new start-up enterprises to long-established businesses with up to £10 million turnover. But all of these clients have one thing in common; our ability to add value to what they do and how they develop.

Private/individual clients

For private clients who need help with tax planning matters or tax returns, we aim to understand your circumstances and what you are trying to achieve. In some instances we work with several generations of the same family to help them realise their personal tax strategies.
