Accounts Assistants – 2 positions
We are also looking to recruit two new Accounts Assistants, based in our Penzance and Redruth offices. The successful candidates will experience great variety, not just in the type of work being carried out, but also from the diverse range of clients we service.
The roles require people who are experienced in preparing accounts for sole traders and partnerships and limited companies. Candidates will also undertake bookkeeping duties and prepare and submit tax and VAT returns, so experience of MTD and cloud accounting packages is essential. There will be a lot of interaction with clients, attending meetings (face-to-face and online) and dealing with their day to day queries over the phone and via email, so excellent communication skills are very important.
Who should apply?
The Accounts Assistants should be AAT qualified or qualified by experience. In both of these scenarios we require each individual to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar role within an accountancy practice.

You will be entitled to 20 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays, plus 3 days shut down between Christmas and New Year. Subject to your eligibility, you may be entered in the company’s pension scheme
