Choosing the right accounts software is critical to your business.

Different businesses have different needs when it comes to accounts software and it can be tricky to find the right system to suit your particular needs. Not to mention having the system installed, learning how to use it and making sure you have reliable technical back-up.

Furthermore, the introduction of HMRC’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) Plan could see many businesses having to make major changes to the way in which they record their accounting data. From April 2019, MTD will make it mandatory for VAT registered businesses with a turnover above £85,000 (the current VAT threshold) to start recording their accounting information digitally, as well as filing their VAT returns in a digital format. Over the next few years all businesses, including non VAT registered enterprises, will come under the MTD regulations. Never before has it been so critical to choose accounts software which meets your needs, but also the specifications required by HMRC.
